Permeable Pavers

For automobile and pedestrian walkways, permeable pavers are construction materials that permit rainfall to seep into the soil surrounding them. Using permeable pavers is an alternative to a traditional paving method that uses both grass and gravel paver products. Utilizing permeable pavers is one technique to drastically reduce the amount of storm-water runoff that occurs on driveways, sidewalks, outdoor patios, and other cemented hardscapes around the home. Thanks to permeable pavers, which offer the convenience and durability of a hard surface for both vehicle and pedestrian use, rainwater may infiltrate the soil as opposed to flowing off. Accordingly, installing permeable pavers can reduce the load on local sewage systems, stop yard erosion, stop pollutants and lawn chemicals from entering rivers and watersheds, and even replenish depleted groundwater supplies.
